Excellent location. Spacious room. Nice breakfasts. Could be a little bit cheaper. Slightly laud street in the early morning.

The Hotel Johann Strauss was a comfortable hotel, the staff were attentive. The rooms were pleasant. The dining room made for a enjoyable and varied breakfast. Well located.

L'hôtel Johann Strauss est particulièrement bien situé, à 20m de la station de metro Taubstummengasse, et donc à 2 stations de Stephansdom. Un garage souterrain, certes un peu cher, permet d'avoir son véhicule à proximité. J'aurais mis la note 5 s'il y avait eu la possibilité de se restaurer sur place. En effet, étant partie seule, j'aurais aimé pouvoir dîner sur place le soir. Néanmoins, j'y étais tellement bien que c'est sans doute là que je logerais à nouveau si je retournais à Vienne.

Morning breafast tastes very good. I stayed with you many times. On the 7th day I checked in after 7 at night and the single room was at 1st. floor. The noises outsides was a trouble.After 2 days, I could change to upper floor and itn was good. I stayed with you Dec.20, Please give me large double room.

Overall, my stay was excellent. To begin with, the room was spacious, luminous, beautiful and comfortable, with all the fundamental features for a delightful stay. The breakfast, served in an elegant setting, had good quality and variety. The staff was efficient and welcoming, deserving the highest praise. Last but not least, the location was ideal in the lovely and practical Wieden district. The hotel is set within a couple of minutes walk from the Taubstummengasse U1 stop, commerce and services. Karlsplatz is within a 10-minute walk. Just a minor remark: I would replace the flooring in some carpeted areas with plain wooden surfaces. All in all, I vehemently recommend the hotel. Best wishes to the hotel and its staff.

we stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed every minute. The hotel is perfectly located near the Karlskirche, Nachmarket and the Opera house. It is conveniently located 50 meters for the subway station. The rooms are large and alean, the staff very helpful and the breakfast excellent. Would certainly come back.

Hello Johann Strauss Team, I stay in your hotel whenever I visit glorious Vienna. I love the location and your breakfast. Thank you for accommodating my request for a quiet room in April. I will most definitely book your hotel again. And yes, I religiously visit Vienna year after year just to get a dose of the imperial architecture and of course Klimt amongst other things Vienna has to offer. regards, Timea

I am extremely happy with my stay at the Hotel Johann Strauss during my 5 days visit to Vienna ! The hotel staff are mostly friendly and helpful in providing information. Breakfast is great and a breakfast box was prepared for us on one of the mornings where we were setting off early for a day trip to Salzburg. The hotel is 15 min walking distance to the city center and the U-Bahn is just outside the hotel (1 stop to the City Center State Opera). One comment to the hotel management though: windows should be more soundproofed as traffic noise can be heard from the street. Overall it was a great stay and I will definitely opt for Hotel Johann Strauss again should I visit Vienna in the future :)
