Excellent reasonable priced hotel with very good central location easily accessable to the Under-ground. I stayed there for six days. My favorite was the Restaurant Roth with excellent Austrian food. I had one meal of day every day. Tried most everything on the menu, such as; fied chicken escolope, pork stew, a dish with spicy bacon-mushroom, and at every meal the soup with wood garlic. They had a good selection of wine. Very good experience. Book room on the sixth floor facing the park. The ONLY negative comment is DO NOT book through the "booking agency". Make sure, call the hotel and do it with the hotel desk, otherwise they take the entrire staying cost out of your credit card at the time of booking and you are really cheated if you decide to check out a day earlier. Terrible booking service.

Much higher than expectations: the price paid is non comparable with services offered. Rooms are probably smaller than 21st Century standards, but ...who cares: your're staying in the Olde Vienna in the end!

you should have smoking rooms or places as well. that's really annoying to go out of hotel just to smoke, especially in winter

A wonderful hotel, friendly and helpful staff, well located, generous breakfast included in my room rate, nice restaraunt (great menu). All at a great price. Would certainly stay at this hotel again when visiting Vienna.

We couldn't have been more pleased with our choice of hotels in Vienna. The staff was friendly, gracious and exceedlingly helpful. The room was lovely with a beautiful view of the city. Beautiful, historic, reasonably priced and centrally located, we would recommend Hotel Regina to anyone visiting Vienna.

Regina is my favourite out of all hotels in wien... whenever i come in austria will be staying at Regina... That's for sure.... No Hotel in Austria has such nice service and such a lovely people working in... What cn i say - all 5 :)

The Hotel Regina is one of those grand old hotels you see in the old movies, left over from pre-war Europe. The location on Rooseveltplatz is superb for getting into the old parts of Vienna, and to the museums. The room was clean and well-kept. The only problem I had was in locating the temperature control. The room was too hot. Eventually I just opened the window. The wi-fi connection was acceptable. The breakfast offered a large assortment of cold cuts, cheese and breads, as well as scrambled eggs, sausages, and bacon. Not a particularly healthy breakfast, but quite filling. I appreciated that, when I arrived about 10AM on a flight from the USA, 5 hours ahead of check-in time, a room was available.

location was excellent, staff were very friendly and helpful, food, wine, service was also excellent in the hotel restaurant. My bed was very firm and comfortable. Ideally would have preferred more choice for tv movies etc. Also I would have preferred "Black out" curtains on the window to block out light as it helps enormously with good sleep. Otherwise I found the Hotel excellent and excellent value for money.
