Hotel Regina, the first of the Kremslehner hotels, was constructed in 1877 as a city palace in the Vienna Historicism style.
The hotel was established in 1896, and we have been spoiling our guests with traditional Viennese hospitality ever since. It is situated near a gorgeous park on the Ringstrasse, next to the Votiv church. Hotel Regina’s 165 rooms create a pleasant, stylish atmosphere with their tasteful interiors and combine historical charm with modern comfort.
The extremely central location in the middle of the city’s University Quarter invites our guests to make interesting tours through Vienna. The most famous sights and shopping streets of Austria’s capital city are only minutes away.
Moreover, the popular Restaurant Roth is located in Hotel Regina, where we take pleasure in satisfy you with Austrian and distinctive Viennese dishes, paired with seasonal delicacies. The cozy bar entices you to come and enjoy a glass of red wine or a fruity cocktail. Or savor one of our many beers on tap and rejoice in the various drink options in Restaurant Roth.
In the now over 125-year-old history of the building, Hotel Regina has accommodated some well-known personalities.
The Austrian legend Karl Farkas, the writer Stefan Zweig, and Ődon von Horvath spent enjoyable nights in our residence. The Habsburg family also came to visit repeatedly, most recently in 2011.
