Accessibility Statement
Accessibility Statement
Kremslehner Hotels GmbH is committed to making its websites accessible in accordance with the Austrian Federal Act on the Accessible Access to Websites and Mobile Applications of the Federal Government (Web Accessibility Act – WZG, Federal Law Gazette I No. 59/2019 as amended).
This accessibility statement applies to the following websites:
Compliance Status
These websites are largely compliant with conformance level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1 and the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) pursuant to Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
Non-accessible Content
The contents listed below are not accessible for the following reasons:
Incompatibility with accessibility requirements
- Embedded third-party content (e.g., pop-ups, widgets or iFrames, such as map views or booking systems) may not be fully compatible with screen readers or may not be entirely operable via keyboard navigation.
- Some PDF documents lack tags, structural information for screen readers, or alternative text for images.
- Vouchers in the online shop can be downloaded as PDF files. These PDF files are not fully accessible; however, this does not prevent the purchaser from gifting the voucher, nor the recipient from redeeming it.
- Emails and receipts generated by the voucher system are currently not fully accessible. Optimizations are being developed in cooperation with our voucher system provider.
- A small number of areas on the website show lower contrast ratios between text and background. These design choices were made in line with our corporate identity. We acknowledge that this may limit accessibility for users with visual impairments and are committed to achieving a balanced approach between design and accessibility in future updates.
- Our booking platform does not yet fully comply with accessibility guidelines in certain areas. This includes, in particular, the optimization of form fields for tab navigation, the addition of descriptive alt texts for all images, comprehensive screen reader support, and adjustments to contrast levels for improved readability. Together with our technology partner, we are continuously working to improve these functions and ensure that the platform is accessible to all users.
Disproportionate Burden
At present, no content is excluded from accessibility on the grounds of disproportionate burden.
Content not within the scope of applicable legislation
Printed PDF documents, such as menus or brochures, in which digital accessibility features are not retained, do not fall within the scope of the Directive.
Preparation of this Accessibility Statement
This statement was prepared on 10. September 2025.
The assessment of the websites’ compliance with the requirements was carried out through a self-assessment and an additional external review by the web developer, based on WCAG 2.2 using the online tool WAVE – webAIM.
The statement will be reviewed on a regular basis and updated as necessary in the event of changes to the websites.
